Ranking for Websites - Increase alexa rankings
In todays context, ranking of websites and webpages are very important. The ranking given by Google, Yahoo and MSN is a parameter for the sucess of a website or a blog. The ranking given by these websites for a single page or website is looked upon by wemasters and companies. To increase the rank of a website or a blog requies a lot of time and effort. As per many professional webmaster and SEO Experts, quality content and relevant inbound links is what makes a website important for search and ultimates good traffic.
Google, the leader of search engines considers these two factors for ranking a webpage. The ranking given by google for a particular page is called “PageRank”.
Alexa an amazon company search engine also provides ranking for website. Unlike google pagerank alexa provides ranking to a website rather than a webpage. Alexa Traffic Rank is based on the number of persons who are visiting a website with alexa toolbar installed. If someone is serious about monetenizing a website or a blog alexa ranking is important, the ranking should be between 0 to 100, 000 to be an effective one. Here are some tips to increase alexa rankings.
First of all download the install alexa toolbar to your web browser and make your website as the home page. Ask your friends to do the same in their computers. Whenever you open the web this website or blog will be displayed there by increasing the number of visits.
Add an alexa traffic rank widget on to your website. Mention about alexa rankings and website in your blog or website.
Use the alexa redirect url in all the links pointing to your website.
Submit url’s in webmaster forums and blogs which will help to get more visitors who have alexa toolbar installed on their browsers.
Place the url in asian social networking websites.
Ask friend or fellow visitors to review your website in alexa website.
Alexa auto surfs, this is not recommed by webmaster for stable alexa ranking. Auto surfs can increase rankings but it is not permanent as the visitors are not actual visitors, that is not what we are supposed to get.

Sunita came to my office to meet me at around 11.30 in the morning. She rang on my mobile several tiems, actually i forgot to take my mobile. I have got a BSNL Excel Prepaid connection. I have taken the connection in Excel general plan which cost me around 120 rupees. I took the connection last week from Trivandrum BSNL office, located near to Kerala Government Press, Statue, Trivandrum.
Yesterday i activated FnF Plan on my mobile connection. FnF means Friends and Family plan. According to this plan one can call to two numbers, one mobile number and one landline number at 10 paise per minute. The plan got activated just two hours after i send an sms to 3733 from my mobile. Format for sending the sms is FnF ‘Landline Number’ ‘Mobile Number’. The issues i have faced with BSNL Prepaid connection is that the network gets busy at times and sometimes when i get an incoming call from other service providers like Hutch or Airtel, the call gets connected but i wont be able to hear the voice from otherside. Instead of the voice from otherside i used to hear my on voice echoed. Previously i was using Hutch Postpaid Plan, while using Hutch i hasnt faced this issue.
