Addiction Treatment

As you know i am staying in the district of trivandrum, kerala. A drug and mental rehabilitation centre is located about 4 kilometers away from my home. Everyday i pass through in front of this rehabilitation centre to reach my office. Today morning while i was traveling to my office i met a relative of my old batch mate. When i enquired them why they were there, they informed that my old batch mate is undergoing addiction treatment in the above said drug and mental rehabilitation center. Actually it was a shocking news for me. My friend’s relatives don’t know how and when he started using drugs. They told me that after undergoing the addiction treatment he is on the path of recovery. That was a actually a good new for me that he is on his way back to his normal life.

As far as i know about addiction treatment, addiction handling guidance is one of the almost significant aspects of rehab. Merely ridding the system of drugs is not almost sufficient for several reasons, the foremost of which is that none of the psychological or mental aspects of addiction have been addressed. While it is not unique for co-occurring disorders to be existing, guidance is helpful irrespective whether or not there are any extra disorders. Substance misuse and addiction can alter the thinking procedure of a person, and it is significant to hear original patterns of thought as easily as original coping mechanisms for dealing with strain and passionate clash. Anyway i pray to god for his speedy recovery.
