First Animated Malayalam Movie

My brother vishnu is working with a company named Increation, a firm who are working in the field of animation and visual arts. Increation is creating the first animated malayalam feature film named ‘Manikandan’.  The movie tells the legend of Lord Ayyappa. The first 2d film animated of Malayalam, Manikantan is planned for a release in 2008.

The movie has got about six songs composed by the veteran music director Illayaraja. Many film stars has given voice to the characters in the animated movie like mohanlal, thilakan and suresh gopi.

I am waiting to watch the movie which is expected to hit the theaters in the latter months of 2008 which is an indigenous production and i am proud of it.
