Sree Chenthitta Devi Temple Festival

It was the last day of kumbha abishekam festival in chenthitta temple yesterday. The celebration was going on in the temple for the past one week. The temple is near to killipalam where i am staying. Me and my wife has visited the temple yestereday evening. As it was the last day of temple festival there was lots of devotees in the temple to witness the poojas and offerings. Both of us has attended the poojas in the temple and returned back at around nine o clock in the evening. Both of us has got prasadam like appam and aravana prasadam while returning after the poojas. It was a truly a great experience to be there at the last day of the festival. This temple is one of the oldest temple in trivandrum and runs under kerala dewaswom board. The temple is more famous in karamana, killipalam, aryasala and parts of thampanoor and east fort.
