Has living costs decreased with fall in petrol prices in india?
It is a fact that the rise in petrol cost leads to increase of living costs. Recently the petrol prices has slashed twice in India. But there is no difference in the price of basic commodities. The price of commodities is the same as when the price of petrol and diesel was high. About 4 months back the price of one litre of petrol in India was 52 rupees and not it is around 42 rupees. As the price of petrol goes up the price of food and other commodities also rise but when the price of petrol goes down there is not automatic decrease of commodity prices. Is the government is not doing any thing to curb this situation. What government is doing is just ask the suppliers and producers to decrease the price accordingly. It is a fact that the government is not taking any measures to check whether it is decreased or not. This will definitely make the life of common man miserable in India. It is true that except the decrease in petrol price the common man in India is not benefiting from this much talked about price decrease.
