Two days back i have contacted an interior designer to design / decorate my home. The interior designer i have contacted is Mr Sajive Gangadharan who is the chief designer and CEO of Applied Design Group. The interior designer have been in the interior designing industry for more than 14 years. Actually he is one of the pioneers in the interior designing industry in India who is not having architecture background. Currently may interior designers in India is having architecture or civil engineering as their educational background. Moreover he is one among the few interior designers in India who are promoting organic / green / eco friendly interior designs.
While talking with Sajive Gangadharan he told that many of the interior designers currently in the industry used to follow usual principles of interior design than coming up with a new and creative idea in interior design. He is also having opinion that very few people in india are following organic interior design concepts and out of them small number of people are coming up innovative ideas in organic / green interior design.
I am a person who loves nature and likes to live close to nature without harming it. I told the interior designer that my rooms should get maximum natural light and wind there by reducing energy consumption and should give a soothing feeling while inside the house. Sajive Gangadharan has told that many of his customers who came to design their home recently have got the same idea and the world itself is moving towards a nature friendly interior design. Many of the people who are designing their office space, restaurant, apartments, hotels or their villa used to get cheated by people who doesn’t even know the basic of interior designing and these type of certified interior designers used to imitate another designs which might not suit your space.
