Planning a Family Tour in India – Tips

It is one’s flair for the destination is the the criteria for choosing the destination. Do plan your trip to that place where you will feel happy. Before planning your family trip do select only those places which has got adequate hotels / resorts, best food and transportation facilities. Do choose unfmiliar and remote destinations for your family holidays.

Decide on the the destination you want to travel. Calulate the cost of traveling to that area then arrange the transportation facility to reach that destination. If you are traveling by train or by air do book your return tickets also. After this book your hotel / resort. Do keep in mind that if you are traveling to a destination during public holidays / summer holidays then reserve your room atleast 2 months before. Nowadays air tickets and train tickets can also be booked on an early date about 1 or 2 months before or else you will not be getting tickets in the last minute. Even if you get the ticket in the last minute you wont be able to get the required type of ticket and tickets you get for your family memebers will be on separate compartments / boggies in a train. Lots of people faces this issue during family travel so book your tickets as early as possible. Be aware about other alternative options for your onward and return journey.

Now a days most of the households in india have got cars and families enjoy going to destinations in their cars. The families which are going by their own car has got a special feeling that they are not away from the home. If you are traveling by your own vehicle, consult your car mechanic and tell him that your are going for a long distance travel and make necessary arrangements for making your car perfect for a ride. If you sight some minor problems in your vehicle do fix it other wise your travel will be affected. Check your car engine oil level, tyre pressure, condition of your ac and car battery, condition of seats, basic tools and accesories in your car, status of your wipers and all lamps like head lights and indicators etc. If you are travelling by a taxi then do arrange a it from whom who know well or hire it from a reputed and experienced travel agent and if you are planning for a family group travel then arrange a big vehicle like mini bus atleast two weeks before your travel. It will help in avoid transportation related problems for you as well as the vechicle owner or agent. Many people feels that traveling by train is the best mode for long distance travel. If think if you are traveling to a destination within your district or a destination which is there in a near by district and for family tours which takes only 1 to 3 days then your vehicle is the best, for travels which takes more than 5 days it is better to travel by train. Do keep in mind that you reach the railway station half an hour before the train departs. Traveling by air is the best when you are traveling to very long distances and book your air tickets as early as possible. Unlike other mode of travel air travel has got lots of security checks so you should reach the airport at a much early time. Now a days there are lots of options for low cost air travels offered by airline companies so you can travel by air at a less cost.

When selecting your hotel or resort do try to select hotel not purely based in the tariff. You can get hotel / resorts with low tariff but their quality of services will also be very low. When traveling with your family good services, secuirty inside the hotel, excellent and neat facilities are inevitable.

Dont plan your travel to reach the destination at a later point of time during the night. Do try to reach the hotel during day time at least during the evening. Do have goood knowledge about the time at which you will be reaching the destination while planning your travel. Once you reach the hotel / resort do relax for some time in the hotel room and have food or drink then only start your trip for local sightseeing. Do keep all your worries behind and enjoy your tour at its best.

Many people used to spend a lot of money by buying unwanted things and getting into unwanted services which they dont actually supposed to indulge during the travel. Once you reach the destinations there will be lots of agents which offers different services. Be very much selective in getting those services otherwise you will lose your hard earned money. Do create a budget during the planning for your trip and dont keep much amount with you as liquid cash make yourself aware about the banks and atms available in your destination and on the way. Beware of pickpocketing and most of the hotels accept creidt or debit cards so you dont have to carry cash with you. Bought 2 low cost Jeans from Ramachandran Textiles

I was looking for low cost jeans for me from trivandrum city. Last week i have visited pothys for buying a low cost jeans but Pothys has got only branded jeans and the price range is more than 850 per jeans. I didnt had that much amount to pay for a Jeans Pant. After visiting pothys i have gone palayam, where there are lots of mens wear shops inside the connemera market, there also i didnt get the thing at the price i have expected and willing to pay. From palayam i have travelled to ramachandran textiles which is one of the place in trivandrum where low cost dresses are available. Lots of people in trivandrum visits ramachandran textiles looking for low cost dresses. While on my travel to ramachandran textiles from palayam i have seen lots of branded jeans shops like Pepe Jeans, Lee, Levis, Wills Lifestyle and other local shops which sell branded items. But as i have said earlier my budget was too low to buy a branded jeans.

In ramachandran textiles, men section i found that there are lots of low cost jeans as well as cotton pants. The price range for pants starts from about 270 Rs onwards. I thought that for casual wear there is no need to spend much and jeans which comes between 350 – 450 range is good enough. I have bought two jeans pants (elastic jeans which is the trend of today) for just 800 Rs. Ramachandran textiles has got costly jeans and pants too but i havent looked into those range as i got my stuff in the price range i have expected. Spanish Masala Malayalam Movie Review

Today i have watched Spanish Masala from a theatre in Trivandrum. Overall i think that it is yet another adventurous attempt in malayalam cinema by Lal Jose. There is no need to introduce Lal Jose in Malayalam Film industry. He has come up with several stories in the recent years which has touch the heart of keralites. Spanish Masala is one such unique film by Lal Jose.

The movie spanish masala is a movie which is fully choreographed in spain. Malayalam Actor dileep is playing main role / hero in the movie and Daniella Zacherl is the heroine, who is the resident of Vienna, a spanish national. The movies showcases the culture blend of both spain and Kerala. Biju Menon and Kunchako Boban play prominent role in the film

The main character is charlie which is played by dileep. He plays the character of a mimicry professional who reaches spain as part of a mimicry program since then he didn’t returned home. He feels that Spain will help him in overcoming is financial problems back home. The story of the cinema progresses as how he survives in Spain without knowing Spanish language. Unexpectedly he meets Kameela who is the heroine of the movie and she plays the character as the daughter of Spanish ambassador to india and she offers helping hand for charlie from there onwards the actual thread of the movie reveals.

Lal Jose and his team found Daniealla and selected as the heroine of the movie searching in the internet. This is the new experiment of lal jose in malayalam film industry earlier he has introduced a Chinese national to malayalees through his movie ArabiKatha. In the movie lal Jose has tried to depict not only the scenic beauty of Spain but also it customs and rituals followed there. Lal Jose has captured the true thrill of ox fight which is celebrated in the Ching Chon town in Spain. Another thing which is screen in the movie is the Flamingo Dance, which is actually a traditional dance form in Spain just like our kathakali dance. The famous tomato festival of Spain is also shown in the movie. The movie has been shot for 40 days in Spain.

Recenly i have read many positive reviews from the net regarding this movie. I felt that the movie is a great one. It has got all the ingredients which we can usually expect from a Lal Jose Entertainer. As per initial box office collection reports, Spanish masala is one of the best movie running kerala theaters.

My visit to Chicking Vazhuthacaud Trivandrum

A paradise for chicken lovers. Today evening i have visited chicking located in vazhuthacaud trivandrum. This is the third time i am visiting chicking, vazhuthacaud to have food with my family earlier i used to have food from the chicking, while i was working in Selene Norman. My child ananyya who is very much interested in visiting chicking just because she can play in the children’s play area. I have noticed that not only most of the children who are coming there turns their attention to the play area rather than having food. In the previous visits she hasn’t had food from the restaurant but today she had a chicken piece with ketchup. Today we had ordered one value snack and two burgers, one chicken burger,one veg burger and one pack of potato chips (ketchup flavored) which was ordered for my sister. Usually in chicking type of restaurants, it takes some time to fulfill the order it is actually a good thing, during that time people can talk and the children can play in the play area.

Chicking is visited by people from all age groups to have food and some of them are coming to take parcels. the food / delicacies which are available from chicking are quite delicious but i don’t know more about the nutritional value of the snacks provided. I am aware of the fact that these type of so called junk foods are not good for the child but like every parent the happiness of the child is very important. Another thing i noticed is that the tables and surrounding are always kept clean and tidy by the concerned people and the bearers are always well dress in red uniforms and well behaved in taking the order and fulfilling it. The Air conditioning provided is also good and the music which is played inside the restaurant is always thrilling and it suits the food which is being served.

A recent survey has revealed that red color on walls in kitchens and dining rooms will encourage people to have more food, is that the reason why chicking has chosen red table tops and chairs inside the restaurant?

Today is an auspicious day for devotees of Lord Muruga. Today is the day of thaipooyam (in tamil the festival is called (thaipusam) festival which is mostly celebrated by tamil community. Now a days this festival is celebrated by all hindus, atleast by visiting Lord Muruga Temple during the day. All the Lord Muruga devotees consider this day as a special day for worshipping and offering prayers for Lord Muruga. Thaipooyam (thaipusam) festival is being celebrated and special offerings are made to Lord Muruga especially in temples in south india. Festival is beign celebrated across all muruga temples and lord siva temples. The main festival celebrations include kavadis like agni kavadi, bhasma kavadi, paal kavadi etc

Today afternoon i have visited the Killipalam Siva Temple along with my family. A simple feast was offered by the temple for all the devotees who are visiting the temple. Just like every year people from in and around karamana has visited the temple for attending special poojas and for having feast. A day long festival and poojas are being offered in almost all the Lord Muruga Temples in Trivandrum.Similar Posts:
